F&B Crew Leader – MOXY York
This position is based on a full-time contract.
Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced, service-focused role.
Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun environment that makes guests feel at home.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Helping guests while creating positive experiences
- Training team members to Moxy standards in both food and beverage, and reception
- Taking the lead on food & beverage initiatives, ensuring menus, tills, and pricing are up-to-date
- Ensuring profitability from a food and beverage perspective
- Organising and preparing for monthly stock takes
- Following all food safety, licensing, and health & safety policies to work safely
- Supervising accurate and efficient reception operations, including check-in/out procedures
- Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of the reception, with an emphasis on training and teamwork
- Ensuring team members have up-to-date knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area, and other Marriott product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
- Following Moxy and Marriott brand standards
- Working with the team to enrol new members for Marriott Bonvoy (loyalty program)
- Ensuring Marriott metrics are met and exceeded

Useful Experience
- Experience within the service industry
- Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and Micros
- Knowledge of food safety and licensing laws
- Personal experience with travel and the travel industry
