Guest Service Expert – Aloft Hotels
Position Summary
Our jobs aren’t just about putting food on the table—our Guest Service Experts create a memorable, unique experience through exceptional service. In this role, you’ll go beyond traditional service expectations by inviting guests into interaction that makes every meal or visit special.
As a Guest Service Expert, your responsibilities include:
- Guest interaction and personalised service
- Setting tables, communicating effectively with the kitchen, and ensuring all guest needs are met
- Tidying and maintaining work areas, ensuring supplies are clean and ready
- Ensuring all transactions feel seamless and align with our brand experience
Core Responsibilities
- You'll move continuously between standing, sitting, and walking—on uneven, slippery, or sloping surfaces.
- Be proficient in menus, reading and visually verifying details for accuracy.
- Take a hands-on approach—lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, and handling items up to 25 lbs individually or 50 lbs occasionally with support. Additional tasks include bent, kneeling, twisting, balancing, and carrying for sustained periods.
- Uphold strict workplace safety, company policies, quality standards, and maintain a professional appearance and communication.

Preferred Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience
- Less than 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
Licensing/Certifications
- None required
