This is a hands-on, active role demanding:
- Moving frequently (standing, sitting, walking on uneven or slippery surfaces).
- Attention to detail (reading menus, staying aligned with food and drink standards).
- Physical engagement (lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items up to 25 lbs unassisted or 50 lbs with help).

Key Responsibilities
Core Service Commitments
- Deliver exceptional guest service in dining areas, hospitality zones, and public spaces.
- Assist with table setting, clearing, and placement to maintain a polished, inviting environment.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient food and drink service.
- Engage guests professionally to anticipate and fulfil their needs.
Workplace Excellence
- Uphold safety protocols, company policies, and quality standards in all tasks.
- Ensure uniform and personal presentation reflect Aloft’s modern, fun, and professional identity.
Operational Tasks
- Maintain and sanitise food preparation areas, tables, chairs, and utensils.
- Assist kitchen staff by distributing supplies (linen, cutlery, utensils).
- Process payments and resolve guest queries with a smile and a solution.

Flexible and Supportive
- Perform reasonable related duties as needed across hotel departments, rotating as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Less than 1 year of relevant hospitality or service experience preferred (not mandatory).
- No supervisory experience required**—passion and adaptability count more than hierarchy.
