Hotel Food & Beverage Assistant
Welcome Break, Ramada Wakefield WF5 9TJ
Immediate start available Flexible part-time hours
Earn up to £12.85 per hour, plus £1 meals on every shift
Looking for a hotel role where you can stay busy, work as part of a friendly team, and help guests enjoy a great start to their day or a relaxed end to their journey?
As a Hotel Food & Beverage / Kitchen Assistant at our Welcome Break Ramada hotel, you’ll support both our guest-facing food and beverage service and the kitchen team behind the scenes, helping everything run smoothly during busy service times.
From preparing simple food and drinks to keeping service areas clean, stocked and welcoming, you’ll play an important part in making sure every guest has a comfortable stay and a positive experience with us.
Role
This role could be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy working in a busy hotel environment where no two shifts feel the same
- Take pride in friendly service, great standards and getting the details right
- Are happy to support both front-of-house service and kitchen tasks as part of one team
- Can stay calm, organised and positive when breakfast, dinner or guest requests get busy
- Are willing to learn our food safety, hygiene and hotel routines, with full training provided

What you’ll do as a Hotel Food & Beverage Assistant:
- Prepare and serve food and drinks for hotel guests, helping to deliver a friendly and efficient service
- Support with breakfast, dinner and kitchen preparation, including basic food prep, stock rotation and replenishment
- Keep kitchen, dining and service areas clean, safe and well stocked throughout your shift
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards, completing checks as trained and escalating any issues quickly
