About the Role

The European Client Solutions team is the major Business Development channel for CBRE's real estate contracted accounts and leasing business - the team leads and wins multi-service, multi-geography contracted partnerships with new and existing occupier clients based in Europe for CBRE's Advisory business segment.

The team is responsible for the creation of unique, global, data-driven real estate solutions that combine excellent technology, the best industry expertise and operational excellence to support transformational change within multinational organisations. It builds long term win/win partnerships with organisations by blending thought leadership & insight from across the business with best-practice operations and governance to provide CBRE's clients with outsourcing solutions that drive tangible return on investment, improve portfolio performance and enhance employee engagement.

To act as a Commercial Analyst working within the Pricing Function of the European Client Solutions Team. The Client Solutions Team's mandate is to lead and win contracted accounts, brokerage and wider advisory services across CBRE's Leasing and Accounts business within Europe.

The Commercial Analyst will support the Commercial Pricing Lead on building commercial pricing models for new sales pursuits and strategic contract renewals. They will be responsible for understanding cost models and incorporating these into commercial models. The role reports to the Commercial Pricing Lead for CBRE's Client Solutions function across Europe.

What You'll Do

  • Producing and tracking commercial models under the leadership of the Commercial Pricing Lead in line with the contract pricing governance process to facilitate commercial based decision making based on the input from the Solution lead
  • Producing the costing (internal) & pricing (client) model for all Leasing contracted pursuits across Europe
  • Working with the Commercial Pricing Lead to analyse portfolio data to drive modelling/commercial decisions and forecast revenue and profitability
  • Collaborating with other Commercial teams on company-wide, integrated pursuits
  • Liaising with regions to obtain approved resource levels and cost
  • Working within a matrix organisation, building relationships with key stakeholders and enlisting assistance and support from the Solution Team when compiling a price / commercial solution
  • Applying benchmarking standards and competitor analysis into commercial proposals
  • Driving standardisation of approach, modelling tools, and methods across the Regions and Globally
  • Develop and improve pricing best practices, tools and templates including using AI to improve efficiencies around processes

What You'll Need

  • Flexible, client-focused attitude with a drive to learn
  • Experience of working in a complex and fast-moving environment that requires constant close working, interaction and collaboration with other Client Solutions team members and other teams across multiple product/business lines and locations with a strong ability to build relationships across the business
  • Interest in and ability to analyse data, and present insights in a meaningful way to internal customers
  • Expert proficiency and strong experience in Excel including spreadsheet functionality and ability to use formulas is essential. Ability to be able to manipulate data effectively and present findings to key stakeholders
  • Able to look beyond the data so as to summarise and present findings to different levels of management and stakeholders in a constructive, clear and concise way
  • Able to communicate risks and opportunities
  • Good written, oral and commercial skills
  • Capable organiser able to meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics (or equivalent degree)
