About you

As part of FCM’s Emergency Assist team, you will work directly with the Shift Managers to ensure the necessary functions of our clients’ travel programme are exceeded. You will play an integral part in the success of our relationships with our clients and you are often the first line of communication with our clients and the travellers. Using your high level of operational knowledge you will deliver consistently high-quality service by actively listening and interpreting traveller requirements and providing sound and constructive information and options for travel.

You will have a desire for learning, consistently think ahead to identify business needs and take proactive steps to improve efficiencies. You will bring your energy, passion and ‘think different’ attitude to any challenge and be able collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders - working both independently and in a team environment. You will be attentive to client and traveller needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Travel Consultant
  • Experience in GDS – Amadeus
  • Extensive industry and travel knowledge
  • Extensive fares knowledge
  • Strong client focus and service ethic
  • Positive and open-minded attitude with a willingness to adapt
