Urology Nurse Vacancy – Across Site Post
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join the urology nursing team.
This is an across-site post with nurse-led clinics at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at Mile End Hospital, delivering a 7-day service with 12-hour shifts.
About the Role
The successful applicant will work as part of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, collaborating closely with:
- Urology Consultants
- Junior doctors
- Nurse Specialists across Barts Health
You will actively support the quality of care for urology cancer patients through:
- Clinical practice
- Nurse-led clinics
- Education
- Research
- Audit

Requirements & Experience
- Proven experience in urological nursing
- Substantial knowledge and advanced nursing skills in:
- Bladder cancer
- Renal cancers
Key Responsibilities
- Operate as an independent practitioner, advising and supporting:
- Patients, carers
- Healthcare professionals (in both secondary and primary care)
- Influence positive patient and carer experiences by:
- Serving as a key worker
- Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team across Barts Health
- Promote safe, competent, and evidence-based practice in line with:
- National objectives
- Clinical governance frameworks
