For this role, you’ll work closely with the Service Leader and Advanced Support Worker Team to provide bespoke support to a unique individual, helping her embrace the best possible life.
Key Activity: Working one-to-one with your supported person for your entire shift (flexibility, connection, and trust are essential).

Key Responsibilities
As an Advanced Support Worker, you’ll support the client in every aspect of daily living, giving them the freedom to live life fully. Your duties include:
- Personal Care Support: Enable the person to maintain dignity and independence.
- Medication Administration (PEG tube): Safely managing feeding support techniques critical for their health and wellbeing.
- Home Management: Practical support with cooking, budgeting, laundry and household cleaning.
- Personalised Activities: Encourage hobbies and experiences (shopping, visits, local amenities, cat videos, community events, fresh air).
- Relationships: Nurturing trust with your supported person and liaise with families and external support networks.
- Silver Lining: Small, meaningful changes often make the difference; this role is driven by impact.
- Maker of Safe Decisions: Help train peers through consistent best practices.
- Community Engagement: Connect your supported client with shared group outings, support services, and beyond.
- Training & Development: Commit to upskilling (PEG support; christened behaviour support (PBS); Makaton/PECS).

Shift Details
- Day Shifts: 10:00–22:00
- Overnight/Sleepover: 22:00–07:30 (your overnight shift often follows a day shift)
- Short Sleeper Shift: 07:30–10:00 (occasional as standby overnight relief)
Contract Type: Bank/on-call ( entusiasmo with flexibility).
