Salary: £25,000 guarenteed per annum (+ £13.70–£16.60 per hour for contract role)

Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your core duties will include:
- Providing personalised, high-quality care tailored to each individual’s needs
- Assisting with daily activities, including:
- Personal care tasks (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Meal preparation and support with nutrition
- Medication management and safe disposal
- Light household duties (tiding, laundry, cleaning)
- Offering consistent, supportive care to build trust and familiarity with customers

You’ll be the reliable, friendly face that customers rely on for dependable companionship and assistance.
Requirements
To be successful, your qualifications must include:
- A valid UK full driving licence with access to your own vehicle
- Confidence as a driver, as Bluebird Care customers are located in rural areas
- Current residency in either West Berkshire or North Hampshire
- A minimum of six months’ experience in UK domestic care
- Registration on the DBS Update Service
- Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach
- A kind and compassionate nature, with a calm demeanor when providing care
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to nurture positive relationships
- A commitment to person-centred care, prioritising the needs of each customer
- Essential experience in:
- End-of-Life (EOL) care
- Dementia care
- Adaptability, commitment, and the ability to handle a varied caseload
