About the Role - A Meaningful and Supportive Role:
Please note: a driver with access to their own car is required due to the client’s location. You will not be required to drive the client.
We are supporting a lady in her 70s who has a spinal cord injury and is paralysed in her lower limbs.
She also has a stoma and is currently on bed rest due to a pressure injury. With the right support, she is keen to build back up again, regain confidence and work towards being more active in her day-to-day life.
This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building a consistent relationship with one client and supporting both clinical care and independence at home.
The role will involve personal care, stoma-related support, pressure area care, day-to-day assistance, and rehab-focused encouragement, including physio exercises, stretches and support with gradually increasing activity, PA-style support may also be included. Consistency and reliability will be important for this package.
You will be supported by Paragon’s clinical and operational team, working to a structured care plan.

- Reliable, observant, and proactive
- Able to encourage rehab, movement, stretches and independence
- Practical and confident with day-to-day support and PA-type tasks

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
