About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable female carer to support a dedicated live-in care team providing palliative care within the client’s home. The role involves:
- Assisting the live-in carers
- Covering breaks
- Helping with household duties
- Providing practical and emotional support
- Ensuring the client remains comfortable and well-supported
This position suits someone who is calm, patient, understanding, and gentle in their approach. The client values consistency and reassurance, and values carers who are willing to learn her preferences. You’ll be working closely with a wider care team.
Job Details
Rota & Pay
- Rota: Shifts are typically 2–3 weeks live-in at a time, which may shift slightly during the early stages of establishing the placement. Alternatively, if eligible, you can join our Standby rota, which allows you to work from home flexibly.
- Pay rate: £139.81 per day
- Allowances:
- Competitive travel allowance per placement.
- Competitive food allowance per day (if applicable).

Live-in Care Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.
- Observe and record the client’s health status and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Arrange transportation for appointments, outings, and travel when required.
