Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-in Carer to support a gentleman with:
- Cerebral palsy
- Quadriplegia
- A learning disability
Responsibilities:
- Full support across all aspects of daily living, including:
- Personal care
- Mobility
- Meal preparation
- Specialist clinical care, including:
- PEG feeding management
- Seizure management (due to epilepsy)
- Asthma monitoring
- The role demands a confident carer with:
- Strong clinical experience
- Attention to detail
- Ability to provide safe, consistent, and person-centred care
- Promotion of comfort, dignity, and wellbeing
Job Details
📆 Rota & Pay
- Live-in respite rota: Every second weekend (Friday to Monday)
- Alternative: Part-time Standby rota (work from home as needed)
- Pay rate: £158.03/day
- Travel allowance: Competitive (dependent on placement location)

📍 Location: TN39
⚕️ Live-In Care Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and mobility
- Provide spinal injury support
- Encourage client independence where possible
- Observe and record the client’s health status
- Ensure safety and wellbeing
- Arrange transport for appointments/outings
What We’re Looking For
- Female carer required due to the need to provide personal care (Equality Act 2010 compliant).
- We welcome applications from Kind, dependable and confident female carers with:
- A willingness to learn (no spinal injury experience needed!)
- Common-sense approach
- Ability to follow the client’s lead and remain adaptable
Training & Support
- Full training before starting
- Time allocated for familiarisation with care routine
- No prior spinal injury care experience required
