About The Employer
A PA is required for a 62-year-old lady, living in the Penshaw area who has cerebral palsy. She uses a wheelchair and requires 24/7 care. The post is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave and is 40 hours per week working a night shift pattern of 4 nights on and 4 nights off. 10pm-8am. The client experiences muscular contractures and pain as a result, this impacts her ability for self-feeding, dressing, and all aspects of personal care. Skin integrity also requires constant monitoring. Daily medication administration is required. A Nomad tray is provided. Moving and handling experience would be beneficial; electric hoists for bedroom and bathroom moving are available in the client's home.

About the Role: Duties and Responsibilities
- Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
- Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
- Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
- Assist with household chores and general homemaking.

Transport Requirement
