Female Support Worker

Support Worker Location: Amersham, Middlesbrough Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hrs) / Part-Time (min. 15 hrs, flexible) Salary: £12.85 per hour

About the Role

We’re seeking a warm, motivated and caring Support Worker to join our welcoming team in Middlesbrough, Cleveland.

In this role, you’ll provide person-centred care to service users living independently in their own flat or bungalow, helping them engage in all aspects of daily life through a variety of enriching activities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your tasks may include:

  • Providing personal care, medication management and assistance with domestic tasks
  • Creating and fostering trusting relationships with service users and their families
  • Facilitating activities including:
    • Cooking and baking
    • Board games
    • Movie nights
    • Arts, crafts, and more
  • Supporting individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs to pursue their passions and enjoy a fulfilling daily life

Requirements

  • Passion for person-centred care—no previous experience necessary
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Both full-time (37.5 hrs) or part-time (flexible minimum 15 hrs) arrangements available
  • Ability to work in a supportive, warm, and multiplutility inclusive team
