About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Female Support Worker (26 hours per week) in the Drumoyne/Govan area of Glasgow.
Key Details
- Workload: 2 shifts of 13 hours per week (~7.30am-7.30pm and 7.30pm-10.30pm, plus sleepover shifts).
- Requires: Full UK driving license (due to shift pattern including car outings).
- Shift requirements: Flexible hours, weekend, and sleepover work (24/7 support coverage).
The Opportunity
You’ll support two non-verbal individuals living together with learning disabilities and physical health challenges. Despite these, they thrive by:
- Exploring the local area in the car.
- Shopping.
- Swimming, dancing, and attending events like musicals.
- Using creative communication methods.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering person-centred support based on their unique preferences.
- Assisting with medication, personal care, and moving/positioning.
- Maintaining their home.
- Supporting hospital appointments.
- Administering financial and household management.
This is a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010: A female Support Worker is required to better meet their needs.
