Job Overview
We are seeking Fun, Engaged, and Patient Support Workers to support me in living independently within our residential environment. I am currently in college but will return home shortly, and I’m looking for a team of motivated individuals to assist with shopping, social outings, personal care, mobility, therapy and hydrotherapy. Our daily activities may include trips to the beach, cafes, exploring local shopping, and community events—all valued for the positive human interaction they provide!
I require those who value humour, patience, warmth and reliability. A genuine delight for others shines through my personality, and I crave key traits from my support team:
- Warm Approach – You’ll be encouraging, staying with me through calm environments even during quiet times when personal space is necessary
- Trusting Relationships – Experience and confidence in profound teamwork will allow me to feel safe, heard, and inspired
- Qualities for Stimulating Opportunities – From steady wristful support to engaging experiences like weekly town trips or even paperwork roles where needed
Role Description
You’ll help me with:
- Personal care (with respect, dignity and humour)
- Mobility guidance (adapting to my wheelchair and daily outdoor activities)
- Regulating my social schedules – ensuring I stay active while respecting my need for downtime
- Travel support for therapy (including hydrotherapy) and community outings, including co-piloting trips

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
