As a Support Worker/Care Assistant, you’ll help shape a meaningful life for the person you’re supporting—whether it’s continuing beloved activities like:
- Arts & crafts
- Home-based hobbies (knitting, playing dominoes, Wii games)
- Independence (personal shopping, relyinging in community outings)
We take pride in building deep relationships with those we support and their team. This could include:
- Active collaborations such as games, creative projects, or walking together
- A roster that suits their rhythm, like a day that starts at 11am and ends at 11pm, with additional hours from 7am–11am
- Exclusive coverage of one person, ensuring continuity and consistency in care

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support, based on your employer’s preferences
- Maintain 1:1 focus for continuity and deeper trust in care
- Follow strict industry standards in medication administration, emergency first aid, and moving/positioning
- Engage creatively with the person you’re supporting, boosting confidence and enjoyment throughout their daily life
- Ensure physical and emotional safety, while respecting personal habits and preferences
- Work flexibly around a discretionary schedule (e.g., afternoon-to-evening shifts starting at 11am)
- Collaborate with the team to establish meaningful routines together
