We are looking for a skilled and dependable Fencing Operative to join our Responsive Repairs team. This is an important role that helps ensure our homes, estates, and communal areas remain safe, secure, and well maintained for our residents. Working across our housing stock, you will carry out a variety of fencing repairs, replacements, and installations, taking pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. As a visible representative of our organisation, you will play a key part in improving the places where our residents live and supporting the delivery of a responsive, customer-focused repairs service.

What You’ll Do
As a Fencing Operative, you will carry out a wide range of fencing repairs, replacements, and new installations, including boundary fencing, gates, and access points. You’ll work efficiently and safely to complete jobs right first time, ensuring all works meet the required quality standards while minimising disruption to residents. Alongside your technical skills, you will communicate professionally with Residents, maintain accurate records using mobile technology, and work closely with colleagues and other trades to deliver an excellent repairs service. You will also support the maintenance of safe and attractive neighbourhoods by identifying hazards, following health and safety procedures, and contributing to continuous service improvement.
