About Us

We are part of a leading international group of fertility specialists, including CREATE Fertility and IVI London, providing world-class reproductive healthcare across the UK.

Our clinics are at the forefront of innovation, offering Natural and Mild IVF—gentler, safer approaches that use little to no fertility medication—alongside a full range of advanced treatments, including IVF, IUI, ICSI, and fertility preservation.

Together, we are committed to evidence-based treatment, clinical excellence, and personalised, patient-focused care, helping to give every patient the best possible chance of success.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Fertility Nurse Consultant to join our nursing team within our Hub in Wilmslow, Manchester.

This is a senior clinical role with responsibility for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate fertility care throughout the patient journey. You will conduct consultations, undertake ultrasound scanning, develop treatment plans within your agreed competencies, and provide ongoing clinical support to patients throughout treatment.

Working closely with medical, nursing, embryology, and operational colleagues, you will help ensure that patients receive seamless, evidence-based care while contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement, and the continued development of nursing practice across the service.

Duties and Objectives

The Fertility Nurse Consultant will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high-quality patient care in accordance with NMC standards, HFEA requirements, and company policies and procedures.

You will support the continuous improvement of the nursing service and may also be involved in training, audit, quality initiatives, and the development of clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently conduct initial fertility consultations and develop appropriate treatment plans within agreed competencies
  • Undertake treatment, follow-up, and review consultations
  • Perform transabdominal and transvaginal baseline pelvic scans, treatment-monitoring scans, and early-pregnancy scans
  • Provide accurate, clear, and sensitive information to patients throughout their treatment
  • Manage agreed CREATE and CREATE Lite treatment pathways in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Review patient eligibility and ensure treatment plans meet the relevant clinical criteria
  • Undertake phlebotomy and interpret results relevant to fertility treatment
  • Identify and escalate complex or higher-risk patients to the senior medical team or multidisciplinary team
  • Liaise with medical, nursing, embryology, and operational colleagues to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Support egg collections, embryo transfers, intrauterine insemination, cervical screening, and other gynaecological procedures
  • Independently perform procedures where appropriately qualified, trained, and competent
  • Work towards additional procedural competencies where required
  • Provide advice, advocacy, and emotional support to patients throughout treatment
  • Recognise safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals and escalations
  • Prepare referral letters and clinical correspondence to GPs and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and contemporaneous clinical records
  • Ensure patient confidentiality, dignity, and privacy are protected at all times
  • Ensure the safe storage, control, and administration of medication in accordance with clinic policies
  • Support and train new and junior nursing colleagues
  • Provide senior clinical support in the absence of the Clinic Manager or Deputy
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement projects, and the development and review of SOPs
  • Participate in weekend, bank holiday, and on-call rotas where required
  • Work across sites within the designated hub, either virtually or in person, according to service needs
  • Attend relevant nursing, clinical, and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Support patient-engagement, educational, and recruitment events where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
