National Recruitment Campaign Fibre Splicers

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum

This is more than a job its an opportunity to tackle complex network faults, solve problems on-site, and make a real impact on UK telecoms infrastructure.

This work also involves on call responsibilities covering weekends and evenings for our customers.

Your Mission

As a Fibre Splicer, you'll be at the forefront of our network operations, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and expanding fibre across the UK. Your role will include:

• Performing fusion and mechanical splicing across underground, aerial, and in-premises environments
• Testing, troubleshooting, and optimising fibre networks using OTDRs, power meters, and light sources
• Installing and maintaining fibre cables, enclosures, connectors, and patch panels
• Reading and interpreting splicing diagrams, technical drawings, and network plans
• Conducting upgrades, repairs, and expansions to ensure network reliability
• Maintaining accurate records of work, test results, and material usage
• Working safely and responsibly at all times
• Collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality results
