Job Summary

As an FAE you will manage your territory and region like it’s your own. You will solve technical challenges, whilst aiding our customers in making the right decision for their projects. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to support customers, identify their needs, and recommend innovative solutions that drive sales growth. It is paramount that you have strong technical knowledge coupled with a good level of commercial and business acumen.

You will be expected to drive design chain value proposition by generating the greatest number of design wins in technologies and registrations. You will perform a variety of product, technical and engineering functions including research and development.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate experience in programmable logic-based solutions and/or x86-based processing platforms, including FPGA and adaptive SoC architectures, high-speed interfaces, and embedded processing, with the ability to support complex designs from concept through production. Proven capability in customer-facing technical roles, tool-chain driven design flows, and close collaboration with sales and engineering teams is highly desirable.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will:

  • Proactively develop and execute technical sales strategies across your accounts.
  • Introduce new technologies, products, and architectures that influence customer design decisions.
  • Participate in supplier and customer design reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with key technical stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Understand customer product roadmaps, design cycles, and technology needs.
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical guidance to support successful design outcomes.
  • Identify, qualify, and track major design opportunities from concept through to production.
  • Use supplier resources effectively to maximise design-win potential.
  • Promote supported lines and drive adoption of recommended solutions.
  • Work closely with sales colleagues to align on strategy and secure business.
  • Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to the commercial team.
  • Create compelling technical presentations and tools to support customer conversations.
  • Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain certifications and attend ongoing technical training.

What we’re looking for…

  • Strong understanding of customer design processes, product lifecycles, and system-level architecture.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical recommendations.
  • Skilled in building long-term partnerships with engineering teams and technical influencers.
  • Typically 5+ years of relevant engineering, technical sales, or design-support experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
  • Able to deliver complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering and commercial audiences.
  • Comfortable operating independently, planning your own account activity, and leading technical engagement.
