Field Based Sales Account Manager
Field Sales Representative – Construction Industry (Territory Ownership)
About the Role
We’re searching for a driven, field-based sales professional with a knack for owner mentality to take ownership of a defined territory within the construction industry.
In this role, you’ll build credibility as a trusted partner by visiting customers in person and on-site to deliver solutions that enhance productivity, solve industry challenges, and create long-term value with every engagement.
We’re looking for individuals with:
- Experience in a B2B sales role
- Strong commercial acumen
- A hands-on, solution-focused mindset
- The drive to learn and adapt
We will provide full training and support to help you grow your technical knowledge and succeed in the role.
You’ll manage existing customer relationships while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities in a defined region, covering Hereford, Worcester, and the surrounding areas.
As a full-time field-based role, you’ll need:
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Efficiency in planning customer visits
- Effective territory management
What You’ll Do
- Territory Ownership: Plan and manage your diary to maximise time with customers through regular on-site and office visits across your allocated region.
- New Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and close new opportunities through:
- Prospecting and cold outreach
- Pipeline management
- Consistent follow-up and engagement
- Customer Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers by delivering a superior customer experience at every stage.
- Professional Growth: Continuously develop product knowledge, stay updated on market trends, and adopt a positive, solution-driven approach in all customer interactions.

What You’ll Bring
This role is ideal for:
- A B2B-focused sales professional with strong ownership skills
- Someone comfortable with persistence in uncovering new opportunities
- An individual with excellent organisational skills for independent territory management
- A resilient, adaptable personality skilled in engaging all levels of stakeholders (e.g., Site Operators, Managing Directors).
- A consultative mindset to uncover customer pain points and propose tailored solutions.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
✅ UK driving licence with no more than 6 points on your license ❌ This role does not qualify for visa sponsorship due to minimum salary thresholds (as per Home Office guidelines).
