Field Care Co-ordinator

At Radfield Home Care York & Rural, we're looking for more than an experienced care professional. We're looking for someone who can lead, support and develop others whilst helping us deliver outstanding care to every client we support.
This role sits between our Field Care Supervisors and Senior Management Team, providing an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of an Outstanding-rated home care service.
Working closely with our Registered Care Manager and wider management team, you will help oversee service quality, support our Field Care Supervisors, develop our Care Professionals and ensure our clients receive the exceptional care they deserve.

The Role
As a Field Care Co-ordinator, you will be a visible leader across the service, balancing quality assurance, client support, team development and operational management.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, supporting and developing our Field Care Supervisors
- Coordinate care delivery, staffing allocation and service continuity
- Conducting care assessments, reviews and quality assurance visits
- Supporting Care Professionals in the field through coaching, guidance and mentorship
- Building positive relationships with clients and their families
- Investigating and resolving care concerns and service issues
- Supporting care planning, risk assessments and service reviews
- Identifying opportunities for service improvement
- Supporting recruitment, induction and probation processes
- Helping identify and develop future talent within the organisation
- Participating in the on-call rota as a primary decision maker
What we're looking for
You may currently be a:
- Field Care Supervisor
- Senior Care Professional
- Care Co-ordinator
- Deputy Manager
- Experienced care professional ready for greater responsibility

Essential
- Full UK driving licence with business insurance
- Experience in domiciliary care and providing personal care
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
- Compassionate, professional and organised approach
- Strong communication, literacy and record-keeping skills
- Computer literate, experience using Google Drive.
Desirable
- Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting care staff
- Knowledge of CQC standards
- Safeguarding & Compliance
This role involves working with vulnerable adults and requires an enhanced DBS check, Adult First check and satisfactory references. A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities is desirable.
