Job Summary

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes. You will work closely with the care team to ensure each client receives personalized care tailored to their needs and help with rostering and staff rotas. Your leadership skills will be essential in supervising new staff and ensuring effective implementation of care plans. This position requires strong communication abilities, as you will liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a positive living experience.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team and healthcare professionals.
  • Supervise and mentor new staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any changes in their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other caregivers to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in senior care.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
  • Weekend and evening availability to be part of the on-call rota.
  • Monthly audits of the Emar and Visit notes.
  • Carrying out observations in the field.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Previous rostering or coordination skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families.
  • Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation related to client care.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
  • A compassionate approach towards elderly individuals and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.
  • A valid driving licence is essential for this position.
