The Field Geophysicist role is a full-time (rotation) remote position based worldwide, and part of a geophysical crew consisting of geophysicists, engineers, and pilots, that is acquiring and processing gravity gradiometry data and complementary datasets. Daily activities include operating and calibrating instrumentation, preliminary processing of data acquired in the field location, preparation of technical reports and documentation for internal teams and clients, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards. The Field Geophysicist will collaborate closely with field and project managers, data processors, and other geoscientists to deliver accurate, timely results and support continuous improvement of acquisition and processing workflows.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Geophysics and Geophysical Surveys.
  • Strong skills in Data Acquisition and Geophysical Data Processing.
  • Strong skills in Data Processing and data quality control.
  • Relevant degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, Earth Sciences, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with field operations and geophysical instrumentation in land, airborne, or marine environments.
  • Proficiency with geophysical processing software and data management tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely in diverse field conditions, travel as required, and collaborate effectively with remote and onsite teams.
