Field Installation Engineer Location: South East London Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £26,440 basic (increasing with progression) + uncapped commission (OTE up to £50,000) Working Hours: 40 hours per week Shift Pattern: 9am–6pm & 11am–8pm, Monday to Friday (including bank holidays). Saturdays required (one on, one off) Holiday: 29 days annual leave, increasing to 31 days after 1 year About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Installation Engineer to join Verisure. This is a field-based technical role where you’ll install and maintain security systems while also interacting directly with customers, recommending upgrades and additional products to enhance their security setup. Training will be provided to help you develop these skills. Success in this role comes from delivering excellent service and confidently recommending the right solutions for each customer’s needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of customers’ properties and recommend tailored security improvements, including upgrades and additional products Install, service, and maintain Verisure alarm systems with a focus on first-time fix Provide expert advice to design systems that meet customer needs and risks Deliver clear and engaging system demonstrations to customers Troubleshoot faults and resolve technical issues, including repeat false alarms Identify and act on opportunities to enhance customer security through additional products and services (upselling) Manage stock, tools, and company vehicle in line with company standards Deliver consistently high levels of customer service and professionalism What We’re Looking For Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset A proactive, problem-solving approach Comfortable using hand tools and working at height (step ladders) Full, clean manual driving licence Interest in technology and security systems Confidence in speaking with customers and recommending additional products or upgrades Previous experience in sales, upselling, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not essential Earnings & Performance This role includes a performance-based commission structure, with earnings linked to: Successfully completing installations and service visits Recommending and securing additional products or system upgrades Benefits Company van (with optional personal use) Fuel card (business use) Company smartphone Birthday off Uncapped commission structure Employee alarm discount Referral bonus scheme Gym Flex Pension plan Private healthcare Career progression opportunities PerkBox (discounts on retail, restaurants, and attractions) Why Join Verisure?
