Role overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer, field based in Willenhall, West Midlands, you will be covering South East of England

Must have IT fault finding experience/skills
We are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, hands-on and passionate about delivering great service. Your role will include prioritising and providing the best service in terms of new EPOS installations and specialist support as outlined below. We are looking for someone who will enjoy working alone or as part of a small team and has great attention to detail.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Installation of new EPOS hardware including, data cabling if appropriate
- Installation and deployment of systems using correct and documented procedures
- Provide EPOS operational standards advice – Via Telephone, modem, Best Practice and/or training
- Ensuring personal availability at all times required within defined territory(s)
- Holding adequate spares availability at all times within defined territory(s)
- Ensuring that all aspects of the build and repair process are followed at all times
- Ensuring all areas of the repair center and vehicles are in a clean & acceptable workable state at all times
- Compliance that all deployed/repaired systems are asset tracked and assigned to the correct customer
- Ensuring non-EPOS PC based ordering systems are supported and available at all times
- Support the Helpdesk team as required
- General administration duties
- Communicate any observations of future potential issues which may arise from any IT system

- Basic numeracy and literacy skills are required
- An Electrical qualification is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of structured data cabling is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
- IT fault finding experience/skills (essential)
