Field Marketing Representative, Brand Campaigns

Birmingham City Centre | Full-Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday

Mercedes. E.ON. BT and EE. Most marketing careers take years before you're anywhere near brands of that scale. This role puts you inside live campaigns for them from your first month, with our BT and EE partnership currently our largest contract, and Mercedes and E.ON recently added to the client roster.

We're Sage, a Birmingham-based marketing company specialising in face-to-face brand campaigns, the part of marketing that happens in the real world rather than on a screen. If you studied marketing, work in it now, or simply love the craft of how brands win attention and trust, this is a hands-on way in, learning campaign delivery where the results are immediate and measurable.

The marketing skill set you'll build

  • Brand representation: delivering a brand's tone, message and standards in live customer conversations
  • Campaign delivery: activations and promotions across Birmingham city centre, executed to client brief
  • Market insight: gathering real customer feedback and seeing how it shapes campaign strategy
  • Performance marketing, the original kind: daily results, clear KPIs, and learning what actually converts

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Quick-fire FAQ

Is this a desk-based or digital marketing role?

No. This is field marketing: in-person, on your feet, talking to real customers on behalf of the brands. If you want to be behind a screen, this isn't the one. If you want campaign experience that most graduates never get, it is.

Do I need a marketing degree?

No. It's genuinely useful and you'll apply it daily, but curiosity, confidence and communication matter just as much. Equivalent experience is equally welcome.

What's the pay?

A guaranteed base salary of £25,000 per year, with performance incentives paid separately on top. Incentives vary and are never guaranteed. This is not a commission-only role.
