We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join our Operations Team. This role is pivotal in providing effective administrative and operational support across both the Field Operations and General Warehouse functions, ensuring the smooth coordination of daily activities and supporting the overall efficiency of the operation.

The Field Operations & General Warehouse Assistant acts as a key link between the Field Operations Team and the General Warehouse Team Leaders, providing a higher level of experience and knowledge to support warehouse administration, maintain operational records, coordinate activities, and assist with day-to-day tasks. The role helps ensure operational processes are followed, communication is effective, and both teams are supported in delivering a safe, organised, and efficient service.

Key accountabilities

  • Assembly and dispatch of goods
  • Check and inspect goods received, ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable quality.
  • Inspect event, exhibition and promotional equipment upon their return from campaigns and events.
  • Maintain the stores area in tidy and methodical fashion.
  • Keep records up to date on Asset Panda (Asset Management System) or WMS
  • Update and maintain the N2O asset catalogue / register.
  • Liaise with Campaign Managers, Field Operations Team and Warehouse Team Leaders.
  • Contact couriers to coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods.
  • Load and unload equipment efficiently and safely from company and third-party vehicles.
  • Organise items to pick and pack and accurately update stock system.
  • Record any racking pallet movements, update stock system.
  • Produce delivery notes / consignment labels using supplier portals.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment within the warehouse yard area safely and responsibly.
  • Support a clean and safe working environment for staff to work in and remove hazardous products from the site in line with safety regulations.
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends.
  • Any other appropriate duties as directed by the Field Operations Team or Warehouse Team Leaders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience working within the events or production environment
  • Ability to work methodically, prioritise and delegate tasks.
  • An understanding of material / stock management techniques and inventory control methods and procedures
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner.
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, and other specialist stock tracking software - training will be provided)
  • Clear oral and written communication skills to communicate with internal departments as well as external contacts to the business.
  • An understanding of Health and Safety regulations
  • Honesty, reliability and an organised, methodical and 'can do' approach.
  • Forklift Licence - Counterbalance - Reach Truck
  • Full Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Flexibility - The nature of the events and field support industry means workloads can fluctuate. The successful candidate must be flexible, adaptable and willing to support colleagues across the warehouse, logistics and on-site operations to ensure the successful delivery of client campaigns and events
  • NVQ in Warehousing and Storage
  • PAT Certificate and experience.
  • Good level of general DIY skills.
