Contract Opportunity – FPGA & PCB Design Engineers (Outside IR35 | Majority Remote)
About the Role A leading security-sensitive organisation specialising in next-generation technology is seeking experienced FPGA and PCB design engineers to join as Outside IR35 contractors with a focus on remote working.
We are looking for specialists in one or more of the following areas:
Technical Expertise Required
- High-speed, multi-layer PCB design using Altium Designer
- Complex 12+ layer PCB development, including HDI (High-Density Interconnect) technologies
- RF PCB design for systems operating above 6GHz
- Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI) & EMC-focused design
- FPGA development with expertise in:
- VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog
- Neural network & machine learning acceleration architectures
- RTL design, synthesis & timing closure
- High-speed digital system performance optimisation
- Integration of PCIe, DDR, Ethernet & SerDes interfaces
- FPGA verification & validation
- Low-level driver, BSP (Board Support Package), and hardware abstraction layer development
