The Opportunity
As an In-House Field Sales Executive, you’ll:
- Build lasting relationships with local businesses.
- Educate and advise them on SumUp’s products, helping them drive operational value.
- Utilise our expansive product toolkit to offer tailored solutions.
We’re scaling an ambitious Field Sales team and are looking for driven, sales-savvy professionals who thrive on exceeding targets and empowering others. Join us in helping more business owners succeed—because their success is our mission.
What You’ll Do
Your role will involve:
- Targeting and engaging high-potential clients—focusing on small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) within your assigned territory.
- Conducting compelling in-person meetings and delivering persuasive demos to highlight SumUp’s cutting-edge card reader and POS solutions.
- Effectively communicating our value proposition and addressing client objections with clarity and finesse.
- Generating leads proactively through networking, referrals, and targeted activities, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.

What You’ll Bring
You’ll stand out in this role if you have:
- Proven success in a Field Sales capacity, ideally within hospitality, retail, or point-of-sale solutions.
- A track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional results.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—with the ability to build trust and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Deep market knowledge and a genuine passion for supporting local SMBs.
- Experience in outbound lead generation, cold calling, and pipeline building.
