Field Sales Consultant – Your Way

Home/Field Based – Southport

Record Boost

About the Role

At Brakes, we’re setting ambitious growth plans and expanding our ‘Your Way’ programme within the Independent Sales business. As a Field Sales Consultant (Your Way), you’ll take full ownership of one kilometre square and specialise in driving sales within that dedicated locality.

This unique opportunity hasn’t been offered by any other business yet—promise of a exciting career path if you thrive in fieldwork while ensuring commercial success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Secure and maximise sales in your one-square-mile territory:

    • Deep-dive research of local opportunities and target audience
    • Build strong customer relationships through proactive face-to-face engagement and consulting
    • Understand and meet customer needs effectively
  • Onboarding & Relationship Management:

    • Successfully onboard new customers
    • Maintain close rapport with existing accounts
    • Track activity in Salesforce, ensuring this data remains accurate
  • Collaborative Growth with Distribution Partners:

    • Work closely with your dedicated distribution partner/driver to strengthen team synergy within your neighbourhood

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Field Sales/Account Management background – Experience in client-facing roles where building lasting relationships is fundamental
  • Commercially astute – A proven ability to understand customer needs and drive sales growth
  • Technically sound in Excel – Proficient in data analysis and reporting
  • Passionate about sales – Self-driven, ambitious, and eager to hit and exceed targets
  • Niche preference (not compulsory): Aerial understanding of the Foodservice industry would be highly advantageous
