Field Sales Engineer - UK

The position
This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a company of product physics experts, providing integrated solutions and world-leading expertise across all test and measurement domains.
We are looking for a technology-driven sales professional who can develop relationships to our clients in the UK and continue the successful path we are on. You will be responsible serving our clients within sensors, data acquisition and data anylysis solutions from various industries related to R&D innovation in defence, aerospace and industry in general.
You will join a highly motivated sales team in a dynamic and exciting workspace. We believe in teamwork and we encourage each other to have open discussions and take ownership of our work. The role can be based out of one of our offices or remotely as home office. We allow freedom under responsibility to structure and plan your daily work.
Primary Responsibilities
As Field Sales Engineer, your main areas of responsibility will be:
Maintain established accounts and develop new business opportunities Provide technical and commercial clarification to our clients Ensure quick and clear communication on pre-sales and after-sales inquiries Prepare configurations, quotes and other sales material Plan and execute sales activities to promote products and solutions to the market Ensure order targets and forecasts are achieved Travel activity around 100 days per year is expected

Professional Qualifications
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electronics or similar Strong commercial and technical skillset from a similar role Experience in selling to R&D departments in particular within aerospace and defence industry Experience with sensor technologies and data acquisition applications Technical ability to demonstrate products to clients Experience or interest in the following areas: Acoustic and vibration solutions and applications Strain, Force and torque solutions and applications DAQ & SW for previous physical parameters Strategic and Conceptual Selling experience will be highly valued Native level English speaker Personal Skills
Self-motivated and ability to work independently Strong commercial drive and customer focus Value teamwork and collaboration with colleagues from various business functions Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Good IT knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, etc Positive attitude towards challenges and difficulties
