Field Sales Engineer
Field Sales Engineer – West Midlands

Key Performance Areas
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sales and profitability development in a designated geographical area
- Prospecting, making sales calls, managing product training, and providing customer support
- Conducting customer analysis and offering product/process recommendations
- Ensuring documented cost reductions and maintaining CRM administration
- Collaborating with customers to implement innovative machining techniques and refining procedures
- Supporting their continuous improvement initiatives

Your Profile
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, cutting tool applications, and metal-cutting backgrounds
- Strong experience with:
- Indexable milling
- 5-axis machine centres
- Machining aerospace materials (preferred)
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to:
- Present clearly to both internal and external audiences
- Actively listen and build strong customer relationships
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team
- A self-motivated, results-driven attitude with:
- Strong time management skills
- A proactive approach to professional development
- An analytical mindset for strategic planning and execution
- Persuasiveness, interpersonal skills, creativity, and teamwork
Education: An HNC or HND in production/mechanical engineering is essential.
