The Team
The Regional UK and Ireland team drives Deliveroo’s performance across all four nations of UKI. From Brighton to Bangor to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. As part of this regional UKI team, you will sign up the best restaurants in your city/region.
Regional UKI presents one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo, and we are building a team of commercially experienced, entrepreneurial, and ambitious individuals to help us fulfil our potential.
The Role
You will report to the Regional Sales Manager within Our Regional UK & Ireland team. This is a great opportunity to become an important member of a growing business in a competitive market. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with new restaurant partners in North Scotland, covering Aberdeen and Dundee
- Improving our proposition for customers
- Identifying ways to support and accelerate our fast growth
This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys building relationships.
Please note: A valid driving licence and access to a car are required for this position.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Mapping, prospecting, pitching, and closing new restaurants across your region in an organised way
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the local market, including up-and-coming restaurants and customer preferences
- Engaging with restaurants through physical visits, emails, calls, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology
- Overseeing the restaurant onboarding process, ensuring it is quick, efficient, and seamless
- Supporting restaurant success within the first eight weeks of signing
- Sampling food from high-quality establishments
- Attending restaurant and food meetups

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of restaurants signed each month
- Quality of restaurants signed
- Performance of restaurants signed (in the first three months)
Requirements
- Comfortable with targeting new business and having sales experience
- A skilful negotiator, able to structure win-win deals that benefit both restaurants and Deliveroo
- Strong commercial knowledge of the economics of food delivery, both from a restaurant and a platform perspective
- Excellent communication skills across different channels (face-to-face, phone, email)
- Ability to demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients
- Ownership mindset with the ability to work under demanding targets
- A genuine interest in food and restaurants
- Tenacity and motivation to deliver results
- Valid driver’s licence
- Right to work in the UK
