Job Title: Field Sales Executive
Reports To: Director of Sales
Location: Field based in your region, with regular client site visits and some home working; occasional travel to Tandy House, Regal Way, Watford, WD24 4YE for meetings and training
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility to meet customer and business needs

RVM Systems UK forms part of a Swedish family-owned group and is a fast-growing provider of Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) technology, supporting sustainable packaging recycling across the UK. We deliver end-to-end solutions including hardware, software, installation, maintenance, and integration with DRS administrators, giving customers one partner and no gaps in service. As a lean, agile organisation, we pride ourselves on fast, customer-focused responses, practical support, and long-term commitment that goes beyond the initial contract.
Purpose of the Role
With the UK's Deposit Return Scheme rollout driving significant demand, we're looking for a driven, consultative, customer-focused Field Sales Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities, while building lasting relationships with retail and hospitality customers across their region.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities, building and managing a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct customer site visits, presentations, and demonstrations of RVM Systems' reverse vending solutions
- Schedule and attend meetings with retailers and partners, presenting RVM Systems' solutions in a clear, consultative manner
- Prepare proposals and quotations, and coordinate product demonstrations
- Follow up with leads to drive conversions through to close
- Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure accurate scoping of solutions, and support installations where needed
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular account reviews
- Report accurately on sales activity, market feedback, and competitor insights to help refine sales strategy and support regional growth
- Represent RVM Systems at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events as required
- Accurately maintain customer and opportunity records in the CRM system, keeping pipeline data current
- Ensure all sales activity is conducted in line with the Company's Code of Conduct and values

Requirements
Essential:
- Proven field sales experience, ideally in technology, retail equipment, or other B2B solutions, with strong prospecting, pipeline management, and deal-closing skills
- Experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, including account management, client presentations, and negotiating commercial terms
- Comfortable working with technical products or systems, able to understand solution features, integrations, and service offerings and explain them in accessible language
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, including confident face-to-face and virtual presentation ability and clear written reporting
- Self-motivated and disciplined in managing time and travel in a field-based role, equally comfortable working independently and as part of a small, agile team
- Familiarity with CRM tools and standard office software (email, spreadsheets, presentations)
- Willingness to travel and conduct visits in the field
- Full, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region
