Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Location: Middlesbrough, / York coverage

Salary: £40,000 per annum plus benefits DOE

Duration: Permanent / Full-time

Sector: Sales / Construction

Responsibilities:

  • Promote services and benefits to customers, maximising sales through face-to-face visits and cold calling
  • Manage an existing customer portfolio and target new business in line with depot targets
  • Work with the Depot Manager to retain and manage customers and sites within an agreed sales area
  • Achieve revenue growth against depot budget and reactivate dormant accounts
  • Complete weekly planners, call reports, and maintain account management records, site sheets, and quotes
  • Carry out site surveys to help customers select appropriate machinery
  • Build strong customer relationships, exceed expectations, and resolve issues promptly
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives

  • Proven sales track record within the rental sector
  • Strong customer focus with excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including face-to-face and telephone interaction
  • Computer literate
  • Proactive, confident, and personable with strong negotiation skills
  • Full Category B driving licence (essential)
