About the Role
This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to become part of a trusted team, building long-standing relationships with retailers and wholesalers across the region in Scotland.
As a Field Sales Executive, you’ll work closely with Regional Sales Executives, ensuring customer engagement and varied responsibilities:
- Introduce new products to independent retailers
- Strengthen partnerships with key wholesale accounts
- Drive sales, market share, distribution, and coverage goals
- Educate retailers on brands and market/industry legislation
- Identify new business opportunities through shopper behaviour insights
Key Responsibilities
Principal duties include:
- Achieving KPI targets across wholesale and independent retailers
- Developing deep customer insights and understanding shopper trends
- Leading value-driven conversations to bolster relationships with wholesale outlets and independent retailers
- Ensuring optimal use of trade incentives and activities
- Travelling regularly (sometimes overnight) for fieldwork

Location & Requirements
- Primary Travel Hub: Ideally based in Fife, but locations within the Central Belt (e.g., Perth, Clydesdale, Lothians, Forth Valley) may be considered
- Must-have: Valid Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel and occasionally stay away overnight
Experience & Skills
You’ll thrive in this role if you possess:
- Previous or current FMCG retail-facing sales experience
- Brilliant communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to set and exceed challenging KPIs independently
- Strong interpersonal abilities—loyalty, allyship, and rapport-building
- Pro-active mindset, time management skills, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
