Role Description The Field Sales Executive is a full-time, hybrid role covering the Barnsley area. In this position, the individual will:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Visit prospective and existing customers on-site
- Present waste management solutions tailored to client needs
- Manage a sales pipeline
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Follow up on leads
- Negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines

The role involves collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems, and meeting agreed sales targets. The Field Sales Executive will also:

- Monitor market trends in the waste and renewables sector

Qualifications
- Proven field sales or business development experience, ideally within waste management, environmental services, or related sectors.
- Strong client-facing skills, including relationship building, needs analysis, and solution-based selling.
- Ability to manage a territory, plan site visits, and work effectively in a hybrid environment (office, field, and home).
- Competence with CRM systems, basic data analysis, and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to prepare proposals and present to stakeholders at different levels.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while meeting targets and deadlines.
- A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
- Relevant education or training in sales, business, or environmental services is beneficial, though equivalent experience will be considered.
