Field Sales Manager, Electrical Engineering & Process Control
Locations: West Midlands, South West, South Wales Salary: £62,000 basic + uncapped commission (realistic OTE in Year One: £75,000) + Tesla Company Car

Key responsibilities:
- Balancing existing account nurturing and new business hunting
- Spending 4+ days per week in the field, conducting a minimum of two client meetings daily with prestigious target accounts
- Focusing on a geographic patch, particularly the critical Bristol-to-Birmingham corridor
- Targeting key sectors: M&E contractors, wholesalers, panel builders, switchgear manufacturers, and control panel specialists
Sales is consultative, transforming simple £3K instrumentation deals into £100K+ total enterprise solutions.
Requirements for This Role
Essential criteria:
- Proven success in a high-activity field sales environment within:
- Electrical
- Engineering
- Building services sectors
- A curiosity-driven mindset with strong technical acumen—someone who probes deeply to grasp complex client requirements
- Ability to craft highly tailored solutions that foster long-term buyer commitments

Ideal (but not mandatory) background:
- Electrical Engineering or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector expertise
- Bespoke technical trades experience (e.g., plumbing, HVAC) with strong transferable technical sales skills
Highly desirable (not essential):
- Any electrical certification or qualification
Core personal attributes: ✔ Self-motivated, confident, and capable of working autonomously ✔ Trim drive to meet rigorous appointment and revenue targets
