Field Sales Rep (Scotland Region)

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Field Sales Rep to cover the Scotland Region. Working autonomously in choosing optimal locations within the area, the right candidate will be self-motivated to achieve uncapped bonus commission on top of a healthy base salary of £30,000.

This role is full-time, permanent, with a Monday to Friday on-the-road schedule. While weekend working is optional—particularly for bonus eligibility—it is not required to qualify for bonuses.

What You’d Be Selling

NEAFS is a market-leading brand within the UK, specialising in innovative tobacco-free nicotine products. Our ethos centres on providing reduced-risk, smoke-free alternatives, offering the closest heated experience to smoking with nicotine—sans tobacco. We deliver a realistic cigarette alternative at far more affordable prices for consumers.

Where You’d Be Selling

This role will focus on building and maintaining a clientele of convenience stores, independent retailers, off-licences, and corner shops across Scotland. Working collaboratively with Field Sales Reps in other regions, the successful candidate will share best practices and contribute to collective team goals while operating independently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

How You’d Sell

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and manage a route to approach new independent convenience retailers, with flexibility for ad hoc store visits if opportunities arise.
  • Present and sell NEAFS products to store owners using branded presentations, materials, and pricing policies (POR).
  • Establish trusted client relationships, ensuring loyalty and repeat business through regular restocking visits.
  • Assist store owners with product merchandising, in-store display optimisation, and staff training to highlight key benefits and unique selling points (USPs) of the products.
  • Log store visits via an easy-to-use electronic system for seamless organisation.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to provide real-time feedback, discuss market trends, competition, and client feedback.

Days will be spent on-the-road, engaging with retailers, and handling sales calls to grow the network and sales.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an ideal candidate with:

  • Experience in field sales or area management, preferably within FMCG, convenience retail, or nicotine product sales. (Candidates with broader sales experience are still encouraged to apply.)
  • Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated respect for diversity.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to trustworthily manage client relationships and routes independently.
  • Enthusiasm, drive, and resilience, with a career history of meeting or surpassing targets.
  • Willingness to continue self-development and to thrive both collaboratively and independently.
  • A full UK driving licence and reliable vehicle access for on-the-road work.
