Field Sales Representative
Self-Employed Field Sales Representative
(Commission Only – Fully Field-Based Role)
Realistic full-time earnings: £40,000–£50,000+ per year (uncapped potential)

The Role
This is a face-to-face, fully field-based position. Your day will involve:
- Meeting business owners across cafés, salons, shops, restaurants and more
- Understanding their needs and recommending solutions that help them grow
- No prior payments experience needed—just excellent customer rapport, problem-solving skills and a drive to succeed.
Earning Potential
Your income is directly tied to your effort:
- £500+ average upfront commission per new business (50% on sign-up)
- 25% recurring income from each business for up to 5 years
- ~75% of a customer’s value paid in the first year—putting serious money in your pocket
- Additional hardware commission (card machines, POS systems etc.)

Responsibilities
As a Field Sales Representative, you’ll:
- Build trust and long-term relationships with local SMEs—helping them upgrade payment processes for growth
- Show offline why SumUp solutions make the most financial sense
- Manage your own sales territory and convert conversations into paying customers
- Become the go-to payment expert in your community
