Macgregor Black are partnering with a leading toy and giftware company on the search for a Field Sales Representative.
Role Overview
- Location: Permanent role covering the North of England and Scotland
- Focus: Driving sales growth by:
- Developing relationships with independent retail customers
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Acting as a brand ambassador to support customers with:
- Right product ranges
- Commercial solutions
- Maximising sales performance

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of independent retail accounts across the North of England and Scotland
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within territory boundaries
- Conduct regular customer visits to build long-term relationships
- Present new product launches and seasonal collections to customers
- Deliver against sales targets, revenue objectives, and KPIs
- Negotiate commercial agreements and maximise sales opportunities
- Monitor:
- Competitor activity
- Market trends
- Customer feedback
- Maintain accurate:
- Customer records
- Sales forecasts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service
- Represent the business at:
- Trade shows
- Industry events (as required)

What We’re Looking For in the Right Candidate
Essential Criteria
- Proven field sales experience in:
- Toys
- Giftware
- Children’s products
- Stationery
- Greetings cards
- Similar consumer product categories
- Strong experience selling into independent retail accounts
- Demonstrable track record of:
- Achieving sales targets
- Exceeding performance goals
- Key skills:
- Exceptional relationship-building
- Strong communication skills
- Adept negotiation ability
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
- Highly organised, capable of managing a large geographic territory
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to regular regional travel
- Advantageous: Existing networks within the independent retail sector
