Role Description
This part-time remote role is for a Field Sales Representative covering Brighton and Sussex, focused on European craft drinks. The role involves prospecting and visiting bars, restaurants, hotels, independent retailers, and specialty shops to introduce and promote Distille Limited’s portfolio. The representative will build and maintain strong relationships with accounts, manage a local sales pipeline, and conduct product presentations and tastings.

Responsibilities

- Scheduling and attending customer meetings
- Negotiating listings and pricing within guidelines
- Processing orders
- Tracking performance against targets
- Gathering market feedback
- Reporting on competitor activity
- Collaborating with the wider team on local marketing initiatives and events
This part-time role carries a 45-day trial period, with compensation based on days committed on a weekly basis, with commission on sales and fuel expenses paid out on a monthly basis. Upon successful completion of the trial period, full/part-time employment will be offered to the candidate with a salary and OTP earnings for commission.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in field sales or account management, ideally within beverages, hospitality, or FMCG.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with trade customers.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time capacity.
- Good understanding of the Brighton and Sussex hospitality and retail landscape; existing local trade contacts are an advantage.
- Passion for craft and luxury beverages, with the ability to convey product stories and key selling points clearly.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and digital communication platforms for managing routes, accounts, and reports.
- Valid UK driving license and reliable access to transport for regular customer visits within the territory.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for tastings, events, and promotions.
