**B2B Sales Account Manager – Payment Solutions – UK
About the Role
Flatpay is one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintech companies and has recently launched in the UK. If you’re a proactive, results-driven sales professional with experience closing B2B customer deals, we want you to be a part of our journey. As an Account Manager – Field-Based Sales, you’ll play a vital role in growing Flatpay’s market presence by signing high-potential SME merchants and delivering an outstanding sales and onboarding experience.

What You’ll Earn
This is an uncapped earning opportunity tailored for high-performing sales professionals.
- Guaranteed monthly commission: £2,120/month (permanent, no expiry)
- OTE (on-target earnings): £60,000–£70,000 (uncapped)
- Mileage reimbursement: 45p per mile
- Equipment provided: Company-issued laptop and phone
- Free parking scheme via RingGo account
Proportional payouts: Earn more by exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities
Merchant Relationship & Deal Closure
- Represent Flatpay in on-site meetings with merchants to demo and close contracts (responsible for 75% of signings).
- Develop your own pipeline through referrals and cold outreach, contributing to 25% of signings.
- Tailor payment solutions to address merchant-specific needs and secure deals.
- Install terminals and ensure smooth onboarding for new merchant clients.
Sales Performance & Account Management
- Maintain CRM records, tracking all sales-related activity and updates.
- Uphold ethical sales standards and prioritise customer satisfaction post-sale.
- Provide actionable feedback to the SDR team, marketing, and product teams, improving go-to-market execution.

Key Eligibility Criteria
Requirements
- BSLL (B2B or B2C) in a customer-facing sales role (experience closing deals is mandatory).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to a personal car for travel five days a week.
- Willingness to travel within a designated territory (Crawley/Sussex cluster).
- Fluent in English as the role demands continued direct client interactions.
- Right to work in the UK (Currently no visa sponsorship available).
- No prior payments industry experience required.
Additional Support
- Mileage reimbursement (45p/mile) for use of a private vehicle, plus an approved RingGo parking account.
