Field Sales Representative – South East

Macgregor Black are partnering with a Premium Gifting Brand on theSearch for a Field Sales Representative (permanent role) based in Essex.
As the Field Sales Representative, you’ll:
- Develop and nurture relationships with independent retailers across Kent, Essex, Surrey, and Sussex.
- Be the brand’s ambassador, driving sales, increasing visibility, and fostering long-term partnerships with retailers who value quality, design, and exceptional customer experience.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in gifting, lifestyle, homeware, and boutique retail.
- Represent the brand professionally, ensuring strong in-store presence and adherence to merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of independent retail accounts.
- Discover and onboard new clients within gift, homeware, lifestyle, and stationery sectors.
- Visit customers regularly to strengthen relationships and maximise sales potential.
- Launch new products, seasonal collections, and promotions to retailers.
- Achieve sales targets through effective territory and account management strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify growth prospects.
- Maintain brand visibility and merchandising excellence in-store.
- Provide sales forecasts, territory updates, and revenue insights to the business team.
- Attend trade shows and industry events as required.

What We’re Looking For
✔ Proven field sales experience in gift, homeware, lifestyle, stationery, or related sectors. ✔ Strong track record of selling to independent retailers and building long-term accounts. ✔ Deep understanding of the gifting retail landscape in the South East. ✔ Exceptional relationship-building and account management skills. ✔ Highly motivated, autonomous, and organised – comfortable managing a territory independently. ✔ Sharp commercial focus with strong negotiation abilities. ✔ Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
Salary: £40,000+ benefits + company car
