Senior Sales Executive – Field-Based (Derby) – Flatpay

About The Role

Flatpay is one of Europe's fastest-growing fintech companies, and we’ve recently launched in the UK.


Your Working Arrangement

  • Location: Remote (Primary base) + Field-based (Derby territory)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

What You’ll Earn

(All-inclusively paid package)

  • OTE (On-Target Earnings): £5,000–£6,000 per month (uncapped)
  • Mileage reimbursement: 45p per mile (personal vehicle)
  • Equipment provided: Company phone + laptop
  • Parking solution: Free RingGo account for secure parking
  • Earnings model: Earn more as you exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend on-site meetings with merchants booked by the SDR team to demo Flatpay solutions and close contracts (75% of new signings)
  • Develop your own pipeline via referrals and cold prospecting (25% of new signings)
  • Tailor solutions to merchant needs and secure persuasive deals
  • Execute onboarding by delivering, installing, and configuring payment terminals at new sites
  • Maintain CRM records with accurate, up-to-date data entries
  • Ensure sales compliance and customer retention post-sale with an ethical approach
  • Provide feedback to SDRs, product, and marketing teams to continuously refine go-to-market strategies

Background & Requirements

  • Sales experience in a B2B or B2C-facing role (closing desired)
  • Valid UK full driver’s licence with access to their own vehicle 5 days/week
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
  • Fluent in English
  • Right to work in the UK (thank you, UK visa sponsorship is not currently offered)
  • No mandatory fintech experience—adaptability is key!

(Bonus if you have payments/e-commerce sector knowledge)
