Field Service Commissioning Engineer
Field Service & Commissioning Engineer AVAILABLE ROLES:

- 1 Contract 📍 LOCATION: Near Southampton 🌍 TRAVEL: International 💷 PACKAGE:
- Permanent: OTE £80K–£100K (Salary up to circa £60K at base, with overtime + bonus opportunities)
- Contract: Competitive day rate
A global engineering business, specialising in bespoke processing equipment, is seeking experienced Field Service & Commissioning Engineers due to continued growth and a strong order book.
The business supplies globally, specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke high-tech industrial equipment across multiple industries. This role is varied and hands-on, involving:
- Installation and commissioning of bespoke machinery
- Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) (Desirable)
- PLC/software fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Electrical & mechanical service work
- Global travel (~70% post-readiness)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install and commission bespoke processing machinery
- Assist with SAT, IQ/OQ and customer site support (desirable)
- Conduct PLC/software fault diagnosis and problem-solving
- Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance/service
- Support global operations, involving frequent international travel
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven engineering/manufacturing background
- Experience working with processing machinery or industrial equipment
- Knowledge of documentation and testing procedures
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems, controls, or software troubleshooting
- Comfortable with extensive international travel requirements
