Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Braintree, Essex Full-Time | £35,000 - £37,000 per annum + benefits

About the Role

  • Work Location: Braintree, Essex (covering areas including Chelmsford, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, etc.)

  • Primary Responsibilities:

    • Service, repairs, and preventive maintenance (PPMs) on medical-grade advanced meal delivery systems.
    • Field support in the Braintree area.
  • Training & Investment:

    • and benefits ensuring long-term job satisfaction through constant professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service, repairs, and PPMs for sophisticated meal delivery systems in medical environments.
  • Operate door-to-door, covering the Braintree region.
  • Follow through with field service duties, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and installation.
  • Ensure all systems are code compliant in healthcare settings.

Requirements & Qualifications

A mix of specialisation and adaptability drives success in this position:

  • Experience in Field Service Engineering:
    • Appliance maintenance, catering services, military-sanctioned equipment (applicable with naval background).
  • Technical Aptitude:
    • Electro-mechanical experience, particularly with motors and compressors.
    • Refrigeration/F Gas qualifications highly desirable.
  • Requirements:
    • Full UK driving license (essential for field role).
    • Ability to travel across the Braintree area.
    • Strict adherence to industry regulations, including medical infrastructure compliance.
