Field Service Engineer Vacancy

We are excited to welcome a Skilled Level Field Service Engineer to join our engineering division, driving business growth through best-in-class customer service.


What You Will Do

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on STERIS/Cantel product lines and field troubleshooting within your assigned service area.
  • Conduct maintenance on STERIS/Cantel, related product lines, and competitive equipment, including:
    • Disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts
    • Rewiring and reassembling components as needed
    • Troubleshooting and adjusting/calibrating equipment using standard and specialized tools, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

  • Complete daily administrative tasks, including:

    • Computer synchronization
    • Completion of service reports
    • Maintaining tools and parts inventory to prescribed Team Leader and Service Manager levels.
  • Utilize Corporate applications (Siebel, Oracle, Sales Connection, others) for daily operations.

  • Build and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions, and the sales organization.

  • Deliver courteous and professional service when interacting with:

    • Customers

    • Contractors

    • Management

    • Colleagues

    • Comply with STERIS and Customer Health & Safety protocols, including facility entry/exit procedures.

  • Develop sales opportunities by:

    • Positioning STERIS/Cantel products and services effectively
    • Identifying sales opportunities
    • Passing leads to management and sales.

Requirements

Education

  • None explicitly stated (general high education standard implied).

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience, with knowledge of operating washing and sterilization processing units.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.

Key Skills & Attributes

  • Good troubleshooting abilities

  • Strong organizational attitude

  • Computer literacy, along with proficient oral and written communication skills.

  • Technical knowledge of the English language.

  • Completing a recognized mechanical, electrical, or electronic technical training programme is preferred.
